A rather unlucky weekend at the Termas de Río Hondo circuit for our Suomy rider Pecco Bagnaia, who only finishes the Saturday’s sprint race in the points.
Starting from the front row, our reigning champion had to deal with a few small technical problems which forced him not to risk too much and finish the race in sixth place.
Satisfied with the four points obtained in the sprint race, Pecco can’t help but show his regret for Sunday’s race. Despite the rain and the difficulties of having to race on the wet track, our Suomy rider was able to maintain the third position after the start.
However, with just eight laps to go, when he had already conquered the second place, Pecco fell and finished the race in sixteenth place, thus having to hand over the first place in the general classification to the winner of the GP of Argentina Marco Bezzecchi.
“It was a complicated weekend, but in the race, we had managed to be competitive and fight for the podium. Marco was really fast today, and I would have been happy to end the weekend with second place, but unfortunately, I crashed. I apologise to my team, who did a great job throughout the weekend. Now I will focus already on Austin, where we will try to redeem ourselves.”

The GP of Argentina turns out to be complicated also for our Moto3 Suomy rider Romano Fenati.
Although Romano didn’t have a wonderful race start, in which he lost some positions, our Suomy rider improved his pace in the second half of the race, thus managing to get the first three points of the championship by crossing the finish line in thirteenth position.
“Just like what happened in Portugal, I wasn’t able to get back to the top positions. it’s a pity, but with the whole team we will continue to work hard to find the balance.”
